Our founder, Mark Gallett, began his working life in the security industry in 1991 as an apprentice intruder alarm installer. He always had aspirations to one day run his own security company and then in 1999, Alarm 2000 was born. 

His vision of providing a friendly and trustworthy professional security company quickly became a family-run business, offering security solutions to its many valued customers.

Over the years, we are proud of the business that we have built up and our forward-thinking vision has seen us go from strength to strength. We now work nationally as well as locally, in both public and private sectors, ranging from domestic homes and out-buildings to large commercial businesses and estates.

With the relationships we have developed with leading security system distributors across the UK, we can offer our customers a wide-range of bespoke and state-of-the-art solutions as they hit the market in the UK, embracing change and staying up to date with technology in an industry that we have grown up in.
